Kuruva Dweep - Wayanad
Covering about 950 acres, the three riverine, uninhabited islands on the Kabini River, is located 17km from Mananthavady and 45km from Sultan Bathery. Two tributaries of the Kabini river – Panamaram and Mananthavady provide options for bamboo rafting and boat rides. From Pulpally, you can go for boating and bamboo raft rides organized by the DTPC Wayanad.The Thondaramudi Peak nearby has trekking routes. Kuruvadweep is known for its medicinal plants and trees.
